Caswell County, circa 1850, mahogany veneers, poplar and white pine secondary, multi-part form, rectangular dressing mirror with ogee frame supported by a distinctive frame featuring a shaped crest tapered stile supports, fixed to recessed cabinet with two side by side glove drawers and demilune corners, the base featuring a half part white marble molded conforming top above three cockbeaded drawers and featuring book-matched burl mahogany veneers, half round applied columns to the stile, paneled sides, raised on distinctive shaped and cut bracket feet.

Later mirror; several areas of veneer chips and loss; marble top with scratches and wear; likely later Bennington style glass pulls, but in original holes; alligatoring surface throughout.
