Attributed Salem, North Carolina, and the shop of Johannes Krause, circa 1780-1790, battens with beveled edge pegged to the table, the table with single lipped drawer, flush skirts with lower molded edge including a rear walnut finished board, tall turned tapered legs, pad foot.

Accompanied with a copy of a MESDA letter dated 1975 from Frank L. Horton confirming attribution.
