Caswell County, circa 1840, mahogany veneers, white pine secondary, solid mahogany hinge swivel top, opening to reveal a compartment to the right side of table, supported by a vertically veneered ogee frame distinctive scalloped lower edge, central standard support with heart shaped void, shaped quadruped base, feet on casters.

A veneer chips and looses especially at base; right side of skirt frame missing veneer with later color and lacquer.
