William and Mary Diminutive Burl Wood Chest on Frame

Circa 1800 or earlier, oak and burl oak veneers, oak secondary, rectangular top with book-matched panels and banded edge with underside molding, two over two graduated drawers with molded stile surrounds, set on a conforming base with molded edge, scalloped skirt on cabriole legs with stylized hoof feet.

34 x 35 x 19 in.

Top with some stabilized shrinkage cracks; appropriate brass pulls with some previous small plug holes; legs are old but possibly later, rear right leg with old break and repair; overall good presentation.
