Southern Chippendale Walnut Drop Leaf Dining Table

Attributed to Virginia, late 18th century, oak and white pine secondary, rectangular top with rectangular drop leaves, single gate leg support, square molded straight leg with inside chamfer; flush skirt with beaded trim at base.

28.5 x 42 x 18 in ; each leaf 18 1/4 in.

Gate leg with distinctive inside notch when joined to the inside rail.

Top reset; break out and repair to all four hinge areas; surface wear and light staining.
