Handel Reverse Painted Sunset Landscape Table Lamp

Meriden, Connecticut, early 20th century, domed acid-etched "chipped" glass shade, featuring a reverse painted bucolic sunset landscape and signed "HANDEL 6644" to lower shade rim edge (8 3/8 x 18 x 18 in); mounted atop a patinated metal base of vase form with embossed mirroring art nouveau curvilinear forms to the shoulder, spreading footed base (26 1/2 x 8 x 8 in.).

Overall good estate condition; some minor chipping to the shade upper rim edge beneath the aperture ring; some areas of rubbing and marks to the patina on the base; later wiring.
