Model 552, 1901-1903, quarter sawn oak case with through tenon joinery, fall front lid with elongated hammered copper hinges, interior with single drawer and document compartments, the case with two over one drawers over two hinged lower cabinet doors with repeating elongated hinges, divided interior, straight legs, marked to the rear at upper board.

Lid with some separation to boards at seams (but stable); no key; case sides with tight board separation (but stable); small chip to rear right foot; top board with two small old indents.
