France, circa 1890, three piece set, comprising a table clock with patinated orb case and star relief field, Roman chapters with arrow hands, the suspension spring works striking on a bell, mounted with posterior countwheel and platform escapement, mark of "A.D. MOUGIN DEUX MEDAILLES" to the verso, held aloft by three putti standing on a white marble plinth, mounted with ormolu ribbon tied garland and beadwork ornamentation, raised on four feet. Together with a conforming pair of candelabras having with three floral branch arms.
Clock 14 1/2 x 6 1/2 x 6 1/2 in.
Some scattered rubbing, oxidation spotting, and wear to the ormolu finishes; small edge chips to the marble bases; the candelabras with some areas of leaf losses to branches. Winding movement and turning the hands activated the bell chime.
