Jean-Claude Quilici is celebrated for his colorful and quaint landscapes of the Mediterranean. Of Corsican descent, he began exhibiting at age 17 and gained early acclaim in the 1960s. His international reputation grew through exhibitions across the U.S., Japan, and Europe. In 2003, he was awarded the Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur for his contributions to French art.
