Late 19th century, goblet form with angular baluster foot, removable cover with large finely cast finial in the form of a seated feline holding a scroll in its mouth, flanked by two buttresses above dual female mask and rectangular handle mounts with anthemion and stylized acanthus decoration, the lid and foot chased with dot and hatch garlands, mounted atop a slate base, unsigned.
15 3/4 x 6 x 5 in.
Good estate condition; some minor chipping to the bases; some tarnish and rubbing to the silvered surface.
