A Private North Carolina Collection Per Sabin, "Mostly a compilation from the 'Reports of the Surveys for the Pacific Railroad,' some of the plates in that work being here reproduced" (p. 477).
Sturdy boards with some indentations, scuffs, and spotting, a few subtle stains, rubbing to extremities, and a couple of corners gently bumped; clean interiors with light toning, scattered foxing (concentrated at endpapers), and occasional handling wear such as light creasing or corner fold; a few pages in vol. I with ghosting; the map with folds and a few tears, including one tear with partial tape repair, some areas of typical creasing, and a few spots of foxing at the margins. Very good.
