Christoph Kiefhaber is an Austrian artist known for his vibrant, symbol-rich paintings, engravings, and sculptures. Influenced by archaeology, mythology, and artists like Picasso and Miró, his work features recurring dreamlike motifs such as moons, stars, and faces.

He studied at the Salzburg “School of Seeing” under Oskar Kokoschka and later studied in Dublin and Vienna. He worked as a coporate accountant for many years, before turning to a career in art in 1983. Since then, he has worked in painting, printmaking, and glass sculpture in collaboration with Murano artisans. Today Kiefhaber lives and works in Salzburg and Vienna.
