Charles Billich is a Croatian-born artist who emigrated to Australia in 1956.
Billich’s style merges technical precision with imaginative, often symbolic compositions. He is known for his longstanding relationship with the Olympic Games, for which he has made several artistic contributions. His art has been exhibited worldwide and is held in collections at the White House, the Vatican, and the United Nations. Among numerous honors, he was named Sport Artist of the Year and appointed Commander of the Order of the Crown of Tonga. Billich lives and works in Sydney.
