Ogden Deal was known for both sculpture and graphic art. His works have been exhibited in Charlotte's Mint Museum, the Winston-Salem Art Gallery, and in several colleges and universities. His work is currently on permanent display at the Greensboro Historical Museum, as well as the North Carolina A&T State University. Deal earned several First Place Awards in Greensboro Artist's League exhibits, and the Maude Moore Latham Award of the 1953 Guilford County Arts Festival.
