Attributed Thomas Day, Classical Mahogany Chest of Drawers

Caswell County, circa 1840, mahogany veneer, poplar secondary, two upper "book-page" drawers over three flush drawers, paneled sides, applied scrolled stiles and scrolled front feet, rear turned feet.

44 x 42.5 x 21.25 in.

Later top with surface scratches and veneer chips; one pull re-glued; right stile with lower edge chips.
