Second quarter 20th century, stoneware with dark brown glaze, including a large pitcher marked "E. J. BROWN" (Arden, NC, 1897-1980) (10 1/2 in.); a small jug form with deep brown glaze stamped to the underside "O. Henry Pottery / Valdese, N.C." and "Hand-Made", circa 1937-1951 (7 in.).
