The first a low vase with homestead scene, inscribed below "E. H. Hilton Home and Pottery 1918-1927 Ernestine Hilton Sigmon - 1981", stamped to underside "C. B. CRAVEN / TOBACCO RD."; a black ruffle rim vase with pansy decoration on a black field, interior with alkaline glaze and rutile, stamped "North Carolina" to underside (6 3/4 in.); a swirl decorated low vase with coggled shoulder, retaining tag attributed to Daniel Craven (5 3/8 in.); and two unmarked vases of similar form, the shorter with floral motifs to the body, and the taller with worn landscape and salt glazed interior (7 in.)
