George Frederick Snyder is an American artist known for his vibrant, geometric acrylic paintings and innovative sculptural works using painted PVC pipes. A graduate of Marshall University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (MFA, 1976), Snyder began his career by founding the Center for Contemporary Art in Charleston, West Virginia before dedicating himself fully to his practice.

His work, characterized by optical precision and bold color, has been widely exhibited in over 50 solo shows and is held in corporate and private collections, including those of Andre Agassi and Peter Nero. Snyder lives and works in Indialantic, Florida.
