Rainer Lagemann practiced as an interior architect in Germany then California before establishing a successful international career as an artist. He is known for his lifelike sculptures of the human form, such as the work offered here, that are both durable and delicate through the use of welded steel in an openwork design. Lagemann is represented by major galleries in Europe, the United States, and Asia.
