Being Sold to Benefit Charitable Purposes in Eastern North Carolina David Tyndall is an American realist painter known for his detailed oil paintings of vintage architecture, vehicles, and rural landscapes. After graduating from Valparaiso University and studying art and architecture in Cambridge, England, Tyndall began his career as a technical illustrator. He later worked in New York City with Jeff Koons, contributing to large-scale photorealistic projects—an experience that helped shape his precision-focused approach to painting.
Tyndall’s work often centers on subjects that show the wear of time, including barns, mining structures, and historic storefronts. His paintings have been exhibited widely in the U.S. and are included in private collections across the U.S., Caribbean, and Europe. He lives and works in Beverly Hills, Michigan.
