Wool on cotton foundation, northwestern Persia, 19th or early 20th century, the red field with small central poled floral medallion, surrounded by multicolored floral motifs, the main blue border with repeating floral and foliate motifs, within minor borders, label to verso indicates "Tabriz" and "made in Persia."
