Marcus Avrin was an engineer, author, and artist with degrees in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering. As an artist he worked both as a sculptor and jewelry maker, and he showed his work in Canada and abroad.

With imperfections inherent to the material; a few additional scattered marks, nicks, and scratches to the form and base with the largest at the neck; felt protective pads to base underside.
