Mixed metals brooch mounted on a carve lucite stand, limited edition of 10, signed, numbered, and titled along the stand side.

Lyn Yeatts-Gilhooly, wife of Jim Yeatts, was a prominent Virginia artist and art educator. Her work is represented in collections in the United States, Canada, Mexico, England and France. She was an Assistant Art Professor at Virginia Tech and also served as the executive director of the Roanoke Fine Arts Center (now the Taubman Museum of Art). During her tenure there, she instituted the Docent Guild, the Fine Arts Festival, and the Arts in The Schools Program.
Lyn co-owned the Yeatts Gallery in Old Southwest Roanoke which featured a traveling exhibit on "Wearable Art" in Nov. 1979, which travelled to James Madison University, Longwood College, and Virginia Tech.

Good estate condition; a few minor marks to the stand.
