Edme Samson, Louis XV Style Ormolu and Porcelain Parrot Boudoir Lamp

France, early 20th century, two light form ormolu candelabra with wrapping leaves and painted porcelain flowers to stems and leaf form bobeches, now electrified with faux candles, all to surround a Samson porcelain spread winged parrot, with blue underglaze strikethrough crossed swords mark to base and "France" to underside, fitted to a pierced rocaille scrollwork base, includes two pleated shades.

Not tested; parrot is no longer adhered to ormolu base; minute areas of glaze loss to tips of parrot wings; scattered small chips and breaks and repairs to several porcelain flowers; loss of a few porcelain flowers; overall gilt rubbing, mainly to candelabra.
