Andrew Cooper is a self-taught artist known for his vibrant, large-scale landscapes and seascapes which capture the beauty of the Western Cape. He began painting full time in 1987, turning from watercolors to acrylics and painting from memory and photographs. He has exhibited widely in South Africa and internationally, including the 2004 International Art Expo in New York and Smithfield Gallery in London (2008).
