To include (3) stoneware pieces by Jo Ellen Grubbs (NC): a columnar vase with incised line decoration to body (7 7/8 in.), a tapered tumbler with brushed glaze (6 3/4 in.), and a footed bulbous bud vase with brushed glaze decoration (5 1/2 in.), all inscribed "grubbs" to underside; and (2) earthenware Rock Creek Pottery Vessels (Arizona) by Douglass Rankin and Will Ruggles: a lidded jar with applied turtle handle (4 5/8 in.) and a mug (3 1/8 in.), both impressed with potter's mark to base.

Penland’s scholarship program exists to make their workshops accessible to those who are not able to participate without financial assistance and to create educational opportunities for people who have been underrepresented at Penland and in the craft world. Proceeds from this auction will help fund existing scholarships, with some proceeds designated towards specific scholarships as noted in the listings.
