Including a large earthenware serving platter with multicolor floral decoration and scalloped rim, signed "Icove" (Susan Icove, WV) (12 1/4 in.); a white glazed trivet with incised geometric design, unmarked (6 1/4 x 10 7/8 in.); a porcelain footed tumbler with abstract multicolor designs, marked with squares to underside (5 3/8 in.); a porcelain footed mug with mint and ochre glazes, incised line decoration to base, and applied bubble texture to top, signed "ER-" to underside (3 7/8 in.); and a stoneware mug with mottled cream glaze and multicolor abstract decoration, incised with unknown artist's mark to underside (3 1/8 in.).

Being sold to benefit Penland School of Craft, Penland, North Carolina Penland’s scholarship program exists to make their workshops accessible to those who are not able to participate without financial assistance and to create educational opportunities for people who have been underrepresented at Penland and in the craft world. Proceeds from this auction will help fund existing scholarships, with some proceeds designated towards specific scholarships as noted in the listings.
