A group of (10) specimens including a nautilus shell (6 3/4 in.); a polished giant clam shell half (7 in. across); a polished Brown Lip Mother of Pearl oyster shell half (7 1/2 in.); an Atlantic Pink Queen conch (7 in.); a Giant Top shell (tectus nilotica) (3 5/8 in.); a whole fluted scaly squamosa clam shell (tridacna squamosa) attached to acrylic plinth (5 3/4 in.); a Pink Murex conch mounted to acrylic plinth (4 1/2 in.); a blue coral specimen mounted to stepped acrylic pedestal (9 1/4 x 9 in.); and (2) bleached coral specimens, the smaller mounted to acrylic plinth (larger 9 1/4 x 10 in.; smaller on plinth 10 x 8 in.).

From a Prominent Collector, Aiken, South Carolina

All specimens with natural aging and scattered surface marks; two small nicks to edge of oyster shell; Queen Conch with loss to previous adhesive used for display to underside; small chip to tip of Top Shell; signs of adhesive to back of scaly squamosa clam to combine the shell halves, small area of loss to top; signs of loss and possible repair to one side of one coral specimen
