Early-mid 20th century, assembled from carved and lacquered mahogany chip-wood with brass mounted key escutcheon, hinged lid, open green felt lined interior and red velvet lined underside, small mother of pearl inlay to knob on lid, unmarked.

A few small areas of loss and some surface abrasions to wood; areas of looseness to felt lined interior, felt and velvet possibly later; loss to one hinge; latch to underside of lid missing one screw.
