One page, on "The Kansas City Star, New York Office" letterhead, dated October 11th, 1918, addressed to Captain Arthur H. Samuels, an editor at Carry On: A Magazine on the Reconstruction of Disabled Soldiers and Sailors, writing to him as follows: "My dear Captain Samuels: / That's fine. I am very much / obliged to you. / Faithfully yours, / Theodore Roosevelt."

11 x 8 1/2 in.

Theodore Roosevelt, the 26th president of the United States, began writing articles for The Kansas City Star in the fall of 1917.

Edge wear, expected creases and folds, toning, some scattered small marks and stains, and a couple of minor spots of foxing; one subtle area of thinned paper. Very good.
