Connecticut, circa 1900, painted metal dial behind a hinged glass door, with eight-day dual train time and strike movement striking on a bell, movement signed "NEW HAVEN [star] TRADEMARK", set above a lower mirror, set within a carved walnut case with banded and urn marquetry inlays, fully turned pine columns, carved foliate pediment, scrolled drop apron.
36 x 15 x 6 1/2 in.
Replaced pendulum bob but of the period; crack to one finial; some small areas of inlay loss and some surface wear; possibly later mirror; crack near lower scroll.
