William Grimaud is a painter trained at the University of Edinburgh, the Slade School in London, the Sorbonne in Paris, and in Spain. Working in a Post-Impressionist style, he is known for colorful still lifes, interiors, landscapes, and figure studies, often using bold line and textured brushwork.
