Southern Walnut Cellarette

Attributed to Virginia, early 19th century, yellow pine secondary, two part form, the dovetailed case with hinged lid and applied lower molding edge, divided interior, the stand with applied top molding, drink slide, scalloped skirt, turned tapered legs, pad foot.

40.25 x 25.5 x 16.5 in.

Retains four old blown glass bottles and one partial pad foot (present but detached).

Restoration and repairs throughout including later lid; bottom of box reset with wire head nails; drink slide rebuilt; three pad feet with loss.
