Staffordshire "Courting Under Difficulties" Table Lamp

England, mid-late 19th century, hand-painted and gilt flatback pearlware grouping, unmarked, fitted to antique gilt brass stepped base with floral engraved trim and wired as table lamp, including silk lined shade with red and yellow woven trim as well as carved and polished brown and red hardstone finial.
