England, mid-late 19th century, hand-painted gilt flatback pearlware figures including Lord Kitchener and General French, now fitted as table lamps with wood base, including silk shades and brass finials, unmarked.

Working at time of evaluation; small areas of gilt rubbing and paint loss to both figures; Lord Kitchener figure with break and repair to neck and cap, hairline to horse's back lag, possible paint touch ups to horse's snout, residue to posterior at base from adhesive; light staining and pilling to both shades.
