Circa 1820, poplar secondary, featuring an arched painted metal face with 13-1/2 inch main dial, subsidiary calendar and second dials flanking a worn signature, beneath a hand-painted lunette moon phase alternating with moon and sun with cottage landscape, the dial spandrels paint and gilt decorated with peach and floral designs, operated by a dual train weight driven 8-day movement, the false plate stamped "WILKES & SON," set within hinged door hood with broken arched pediment, urn finial and fully turned column support, the case with hinged waist door flanked by fully turned columns, with cove moldings over a rectangular base raised on ogee feet, lacking pendulum and weights.

Lacking flanking finials; later glass; lacking weights and pendulum; warp to waist door; base with some dark staining; feet are old but appear later. Dust soiling to works; some areas of later paint to dial.
