Pair of American Chippendale Brass Andirons

Circa 1790-1815, manner of John Bailey, unsigned, brazed brass construction, featuring a rising orb with turned finial atop a cylindrical plinth, resting on cabriole legs with spurred knee on ball feet, with iron leg rests.
