North Carolina Folky Chip Carved and Painted Diminutive Chest of Drawers

Attributed to Yadkin County, circa 1850, birch primary, birch and yellow pine secondary, with all over faux grain painted surface, the small rectangular case featuring and applied chip carved molded top edge, two upper side by side lipped drawers above two long drawers all with scratch bead, chip carved surround to drawers including vertical and horizontal stiles, paneled sides, straight shaped feet from the stile.
