Antique Tiffany & Co. Bronze Dolphin and Shell Inkwell

New York, circa 1900, patinated and parcel gilt bronze, modeled as a dolphin supporting a hinged clam shell inkwell, secured to a marble and bronze base, marked "Tiffany & Co." to base profile.

Gilt loss and rubbing to patina; some light verdigris to lid underside; ink stains to interior of inkwell and lid; nicks to marble corners; no longer retaining ink insert.
