Antique American Large Carved Mahogany Hall Tree

Circa 1880, molded pediment with stylized egg and dart over fluted frieze with acanthus carved ends, over an arched beveled mirror flanked by fluted styles with brass hooks, hinged storage seat, bold molded base on short molded front feet.

As found estate condition; slight crazing to the surface; the hinged seat with heavy wear, staining and scratches; area of break out to right hinge; left arm casing is loose; right arm top panel is loose; some corner joint separation at front feet.
