A Private High Point, North Carolina Collection

A group of well-illustrated travel books with an occasional interesting discussion of haunted houses and ghosts.

Overall light wear to boards with occasional age discoloration, light scuffing, and wear to extremities; joints with areas of rubbing and occasional cracking, and one volume with wear at front hinge; interiors with foxing (heaviest at endpapers and early preliminary leaves), ribbon bookmarks frequently detached and causing expected offsetting, and typical age and handling wear such as small stains, a few marks or notations, light grime, and edge wear; a couple of volumes with a small repair; An Old-Fashioned Journey with paper residue and old bookseller's catalogue entry pasted to front paste-down. A handsome and overall clean and sturdy set; about very good.
