LARKINS" on first free endpaper verso; 8vo; each with half-title and frontispiece with tissue guard, and all but one with illustrations by the author, with most illustrations full-page and a few volumes with folding maps/plans. Overall light wear to boards with occasional age discoloration, light scuffing, and wear to extremities; joints with areas of rubbing and occasional cracking, and one volume with wear at front hinge; interiors with foxing (heaviest at endpapers and early preliminary leaves), ribbon bookmarks frequently detached and causing expected offsetting, and typical age and handling wear such as small stains, a few marks or notations, light grime, and edge wear; a couple of volumes with a small repair;
An Old-Fashioned Journey with paper residue and old bookseller's catalogue entry pasted to front paste-down. A handsome and overall clean and sturdy set; about very good.
