Clément Charles Henri Quinton was a French landscape painter and known for his pastoral scenes and depictions of rural life, which he primarily painted en plein air. Born in Paris, he studied under Léonard Saurfelt and became associated with the Barbizon tradition. He began exhibiting at the Salon des Artistes Français in 1879. He co-founded the Société des Amis des Arts in Saint-Maur and exhibited internationally, including at the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair.
