Suzanne Eisendieck was a post-Impressionist artist known for her depictions of women, children, and everyday leisure scenes, rendered with delicate brushstrokes and soft, pastel tones. Closely associated with the School of Paris, she captured a refined vision of modern life.
Born in Danzig (now Gdańsk, Poland), she studied under Fritz August Pfuhle as a child and later at the Berlin State Academy of Fine and Applied Arts. In the late 1920s, she moved to Paris, where she endured early financial struggles before gaining recognition when Galerie Zak, Paris, purchased and exhibited her work, leading to international shows in London, New York, and Paris.
Good estate condition.
