Mary L. Proctor is a self-taught American folk artist from Florida known for her colorful, spiritually inspired assemblages made from found objects. After losing her family members in a tragic house fire in 1994, she felt called by a vision to start painting. She began creating art on salvaged doors and windows, and incorporating collage with handwritten messages about faith and healing. Her work has been widely exhibited, including at the Smithsonian and the American Visionary Art Museum.

Good estate condition, minor abrasions.
