Lot Details & Additional Photographs
The first, a mid-late 20th century Cherokee basket woven in rivercane with natural dyes and white oak handle (9 x 8 1/4 in.); the second, a mid-20th century Yup'ik or Inuit squat form basket with interlaced scalloped trim to rim, woven in coiled beachgrass with natural dyes (4 1/2 x 7 1/2 in.), both unmarked.
A few minor areas of looseness to weave of both to rim; otherwise good estate condition.
