Early 19th century, mahogany veneer, rectangular top with reeded edge and hinged to the left side opening to reveal a further hinged library ladder, the skirt with vertical mahogany veneer, central recessed panel flanked by dark wood line inlays, fluted tapered legs with turned feet.
