Louis XV Carved Walnut Bombe Commode

18th century, pine and oak secondary, shaped top with molded edge, three over two drawers conforming to the serpentine front with shaped raised panels and molded surrounds and floral carvings, shaped paneled stiles, repeating shaped paneled case sides, carved French bracket feet.

Top appears original but has been reset and with cut, patch and repairs at both rear corners and rear 1/2 inch strip and with finish inconsistency; ormolu pulls are old and no other shadow marks are apparent; areas of insect damage; central skirt drop panel is later; left front leg with case separation at base; rear feet tipped.
