Woolwork Needlepoint, signed CP Grover

Mid to late 19th century, wool on cotton foundation, worked in cross stitch, featuring two blue birds perched above a cluster of cherries, with snail below, signed "CP Grover" to left and "in her 12th year" to the right, framed in birdseye wood frame.

Frame 18 x 21 1/2 in.; sight 16 x 19 1/4 in.
