Germany, 19th century, after the original models executed in 1745 by Johann Joachim Kaendler (1706–1775), both signed with underglaze blue crossed swords mark, Europe incised "098" to underside (10 x 10 x 8 in.), and America incised "895" and impressed "51" (11 1/4 x 11 x 7 in.).

America with several breaks with associated repair and restoration, namely to feather headdress, right arm, left finger, alligator's snout and tail, chip to alligator's snout, a few teeth and one claw, cornucopia with restoration to small area of jewels, small chip and nicks to base; Europe with break and repair and associated restoration to both feet, horse with breaks and repairs with associated fleabites to both ears, restoration to scroll at horse's front feet, and a few areas of possible later paint restoration, a few fleabites to drapery, hairline traveling along underside and a few firing cracks to interior of figures, a few nicks to base.
